My Door

I aint very good at harmonica, but I try.
I aint very good at harmonica, but at least I try.
The shadows of a few seem to follow like I do
And the streaming consciousness is slowing too.
He aint very good at indecision, but he loves it still.
He aint very good at indecision, but he loves it still.
Cause he knows it's her he loves, and he knows that's what she does,
So the sooner he conforms the more she'll see him.

She's not very ready for commitment and this he knows.
She's not very ready for commitment and this he knows.
But still she's at the door, she still wants to see him more
Maybe it's just easier to float.
We aint very good at living in the present day.
No, we aint very good at living in the present day.
But that don't change a thing, except the lyric that you sing.
'Cause twenty years from now you won't remember me.

I aint very good at loving you, but I try.
I aint very good at loving you, but I wanna try.
You know that I want more than you standing at the door
And somehow you must be sure that I'm being immature
But I don't think you can ever let me be.
I guess, I only want for you to see
The person that sent you flowers; it was me.
