Return to Wonderland

'I need some time away from everyone,' the doormouse hesitantly said.
'Cause I don't believe in eloquence and frankly this pageantry is dead.'
So the march hare smiled a sadness grin and the hatter drank is tea.
With that, the dormouse sadly exits from the table saying, 'It's just too bad; you and me'
So the dormouse boards a lonely bus and leaves Wonderland behind.
He's headed north along the interstate, with Chicago on his mind.

If you see him in his quest to feel happy. You were always Wonderland to me.

So our hero found a place to live and hires in as bellhop.
Yet there's some things missing in his heart so he drinks to make it stop.
Mr. Doormouse was a drunken wreck. He was fired for that fact.
It was then he finally realized, he really wished he could go back.
And that's the same as it will always be--if I ever go away.
No matter where I spend my time, my love, I promise I'll be back to stay.

If you see him he'll be home and so happy. You were always Wonderland to me.
