News Reporters

In the halls of Eaton, he was pacing 'round.
Because the friends he'd trusted in had gone and stolen his crown.
And they marched to Bellville so they could hang his friend.
It was taken seriously that this could be the end.

Inside the walls of Prison, another lived his life.
He said he found salvation. He even found a wife.
He once was cold and ruthless; now he is calm and content.
I guess you never see the price until you pay the rent.

A girl went out last Sunday. Her parents told her no.
She wanted to meet boyfriends. She was forbidden to go.
So she marched out her window and she fell to the ground.
Soon her name was popular from the papers in town.

On Earth there is this nation. It's called the U.S.A.
Where people live together and labor in the fray.
The papers tell the stories. The news reporters cry.
Yet, the children still will play, despite the darkened sky.
