A little while back, Peter Gabriel made available all the original multitrack recordings from his single "Shock the Monkey." It was for a remix competition. My buddy Brian actually drew my attention to the site and gave me the files. I had planned to remix the files with BIDULE for some time and now I finally got around to doing it. So here it is, my remix of Shock the Monkey. It's about 20:30. It's not a hip-hop remix so you know...it's a true manipulation of the loops, in the vein of the now unreleased Found Sound records. Ambient electro-acoustic music. So you've been warned. It's like zero gravity monkey shocking.
